Graham's Cap and Trade/Tax Involvment

Lindsey Graham co-sponsored the "Cap and Trade" bill in Congress with Sen. Joe Lieberman and Sen. John Kerry.

After seeing Democrats getting pummeled in town hall meetings, take heat in the press, and being called out by the Tea Party movement, Sen. Graham dropped his support of this bill and ran for the tall grass. When the kitchen got too hot and ignoring constituents put his job in jeopardy, Graham disappeared, leaving Democrats' Liberman and Kerry to fend for themselves. Guess you could say Lindsey Graham saw the handwriting on the wall with respect his re-election chances.




It's worthwhile to note that "fair weather friends" [like Graham] display a certain lack of character, and character is what will be needed in the future to keep this country from going bankrupt.
